The new TVS Apache RTR 310’s 312.2cc engine, which is the same as the Apache RR 310’s, produces a maximum of 27.3 Nm of torque and 34 PS of power.
The 5th product created by the strategic alliance between TVS Motors and BMW Motorrad. Say hello to the second motorcycle built on the 310 chassis, the TVS Apache RTR 310. It is the top model in the naked Apache series and is very different from the G 310 R from BMW.
Identical engine to previously, but slightly adjusted
The TVS Apache RTR 310 has a starting price of INR. Three basic SKUs and three BTO (Built To Order) variations are offered. Prices for the Arsenal Black (without Quick shifter), Arsenal Black (with Quick shifter), and Fury Yellow (ex-showroom) start at INR 2,42,990, INR 2,57,990, and INR 2,63,990, respectively.
The cost of the Dynamic Kit and Dynamic Pro Kit is 18,000 and 22,000 Indian Rupees, respectively. The extra cost for the Sepang Blue hue is INR 10,000. It’s a terrific bargain when compared to the price of its BMW cousin. The KTM 390 Duke costs between INR 2.77 lakh and INR 2.97 lakh (all prices ex-showroom), whereas the Honda CBR300R costs INR 2.85 lakh. The Triumph Speed Triple 400 is a significant threat, as was already indicated.
Regarding the design, TVS has truly improved and produced a stunning machine. TVS has distinguished itself from what it has done thus far with the front fascia, which is completely radical. The TVS X Electric scooter used a similarly radical design strategy. The brand may benefit greatly from this new design language.
This part is jam-packed with features!
The gasoline tank has been made more streamlined and looks sportier. We like how these tank shrouds extend and shape themselves to the muscles of the bike. The bulky USD forks up front give the image more drama. The TVS Apache RTR 310 has a twin LED headlamp arrangement, which brings up drama. The twin LED DRLs are bold and appear appropriate for a TVS. I’m reminded of the Kawasaki Z1000 by these headlights.
The ‘Restless to Race’ and ‘Restless to Play’ slogans are reflected in the TVS’s design, which is also ergonomic. Sporty clip-on handlebars help riders to feel completely connected to their Apache. TVS has achieved a nice mix between an energetic ride and standard comfort with careful footpeg location.
Sporty body panels in the redesigned subframe heighten the Apache RTR 310’s aggression. LED tail lights are housed in the rear subframe, and the tire huggers have turn indicators. For enhanced comfort, the split seats have substantial padding and cushioning. The seat can be easily heated or cooled to increase rider comfort.
Although it has been somewhat tuned up, the engine is still substantially the same. The 312.2cc single-cylinder engine with a 4V head and liquid cooling continues to produce a maximum of 28.7 Nm of torque and 35.6 PS of power at 9,700 RPM. Four riding modes are also included: Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track. It has a ride-by-wire system and a slipper clutch for accurate throttle modulation.
The exhaust system is comparable to the previous design. Instead of the vertical smartphone-like display found in the outgoing model, the new instrument cluster has a square display. All of the connected features offered by the brand under the Smart Xonnect suite are included with this new 5″ TFT screen. Even GoPro connectivity is supported, in addition to music connectivity.
A bi-directional quick shifter, a dynamic brake light, TPMS, cruise control, the first ventilated seats ever in the motorcycle business, and many innovative features are among the additional features. It has a 6-axis IMU that allows for several different features, including cornering ABS, rear lift-off control, cornering traction control, and cornering cruise control. We’re discussing navigation, notification alerts, music management, and much more. The BTTO program includes additional kits and adjustable suspension.
